Passenger Flights
Joy Flights and Trial Instructional Flights (TIF) with a fully qualified instructor are available, and flight tickets make great gifts. Teenagers, grandparents and all ages in between can enjoy flights with us.
Standard Flight
The $100 glider flight includes an aerotow launch to 2,500ft and 15-30 minutes in the air, depending on the weather.
Deluxe Flight
The $150 glider flight increases the release height to 4,000ft and increases the view and the flight time to about 40 minutes, again dependent upon the weather.
How It Works!
The flight is in a two-seater glider with dual controls, and your pilot is a qualified instructor. Joy Flights you just sit back, enjoy the experence and the view. During a Trial Instructional Flight you will recceive some flight instruction, and given the opportunity to fly the aircraft under supervision.
Safety
We are always concerned with your health and safety. Our instructors are fully qualified to meet Gliding Federation of Australia (GFA) requirements. Our gliders are maintained in accordance with GFA airworthiness requirements. Provided you and your instructor meet the safe weight limits of the aircraft, and you do not suffer from health conditions that make flying inadvisable in a compact cockpit (eg. epilepsy, dizziness, third trimester pregancy) then you should be able to fly with us. If in any doubt, please call our contact numbers for information or consult your medical practicioner.
For maximum comfort, don't forget a hat and sunscreen, warm clothes and your camera.
Bookings and Information
Glider flight bookings can be made from 10 a.m. to 12 noon but bookings are not required. However, if you turn up without a booking you may experience a delay due to the demand on our instructors and aircraft.
