New Blog set up for the Wave Camp

Wave camp 2008

The wave camp dates for this year are from 20th September to 28th September, 2008 at Bunyan NSW. Please contact Stuart Ferguson (Club Captain ) 0419 797508 or sdf01@bigpond.com for more details and camp registrations.

We can’t guarantee a Diamond Height or even wave (2 camps in 20 years have been waveless) but everyone seems to have a good time. Other attraction in the area include the NSW snow fields just 60 minutes away.

High performance two seater sailplane options

The Canberra Gliding Club committee has tasked the Club Captain, Col Vassarotti, to lead a sub-committee to assess the club's fleet development needs and make recommendations on suitable aircraft that should be considered for purchase, when affordable and feasible to do so.

The sub-committee has inspected, flown and evaluated three high performance two seater sailplane options:
